Megan Jones was born on 6 November 1976. She is one of Australia's top event riders and scored a Silver Medal at the Beijing Olympic Games 2008. At the young age of 5 Megan began riding. Through her childhood she participated in Pony Club until 2003 when she became an international star by participating in the 2003 World Cup Final. Two years later she rode in the Melbourne International Three Day three star Event and won it, and continuing her winning by taking the four star title at the Adelaide Horse Trials. Megan was then chosen to ride for Australia in the World Equestrian Games in 2006 where the team got a bronze medal and individually acheieving 16th overall.
In 2008 Megan competed in the Beijing Olympics and won a silver medal.
Megan owns the MJET Riding School in Hahndorf, Kirby Park Stud located in the Adelaide Hills. At the MJET Riding School there are experienced instructors waiting to teach you everything you need to know ! All the horses are treated to the best care by the MJET team as well as having all the best gear from the Bonnetts Saddleworld team. Together Bonnettsand MJET aim to make every rider feel comfortable by providing the safest experience available. The MJET aim is to make the whole experience oflearning to ride fun, safe and educational.
